Corporate Biographies
Peter L. Cashman, Chairman
Through a career spanning 45 years, Mr. Cashman has founded and led several successful technology companies, held political office at the State and National level and has been a teacher and coach. Mr. Cashman founded Environmental Data Resources, Inc. in 1991 and, as Chairman and CEO, grew the company to become the largest specialty environmental mapping and information company in the world. In 1995, he received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Information Industry Association. EDR was sold to the Daily Mail and General Trust of London in 1999. In 1981, Mr. Cashman co-founded and became President of BCA Environmental Services, Inc. BCA grew to an enterprise of 40 offices with revenues in excess of $100 million when it was sold in 1990. From 1977 to 1981, Mr. Cashman was Executive Vice President of York Research Corporation.
During his political career, Mr. Cashman held several high level offices. In 1974, he was appointed Director of the Office of Regional Operations, USEPA in Washington, DC where he helped implement the CERCLA, RCRA and the Safe Drinking Water Acts. Mr. Cashman also served as Lt. Governor for the State of Connecticut as well as State Senator and president pro-tem Connecticut State Senate. In 2003 Mr. Cashman was appointed to the Advisory Board of Connecticut Innovations, Inc. and the Advisory Board of the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.
Mr. Cashman holds a BA in American Studies from Yale University.
Bob Cashman, President
Bob founded CCA and leads the company’s day-to-day operations. For over 15 years, Bob has provided IT consultation to businesses in the areas of network design and implementation, custom application/database development and technical training. In addition to supporting the daily operations of CCA, Bob specializes in infrastructure planning and implementation for clients, including power systems, data cable planning and installation management, and is a FirstClass specialist. He holds an AAS from the University of New Hampshire and certifications from American Power Conversion (APC), FirstClass, and BICSI.
Jim Bleecker, Vice-President, Professional
Services
Jim has over 20 years of experience in financial management in both large-company and small, entrepreneurial environments. He has served in the capacities of Controller, VP Finance, CFO and Consultant. His wide range of financial systems experience includes the authorship of several systems including project management, order entry, billing and receivables, custom accounting integration, corporate-wide budgeting, forecasting models, sales and marketing analysis, specialized reporting systems, and the identification and tracking of key performance indicators. Jim is a member of the Microsoft Business Solutions Certified Professional Program and holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School.
Christine Aimone, Controller
Christine joined Cashman Computer Associates as Controller in June 2002. She has over 11 years of financial, managerial and treasury accounting experience specializing in business management and implementation of enterprise systems for small to midsize companies. Prior to joining CCA, Christine managed the accounting department for a multi-million dollar privately held company in Old Saybrook, CT. She thoroughly enjoys the customer focus and challenges of a small business enterprise particularly in the computing and service sectors. In addition to her industry experience, Christine has several professional certifications including JD Edwards One World XE, JD Edwards One World Enterprise Report Writer and is a certified professional on Microsoft’s Small Business Manager Enterprise System. She graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Southern Connecticut State University and currently resides on Connecticut’s Shoreline.
Dana Urban, Vice President, Technical Services
Dana has been a key member of CCA for six years and heads up CCA technical services and the network operations center. He is a Member of the IEEE and currently holds the following certifications: Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), and Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA). He is a graduate of the University of New Haven and holds a BS in electrical Engineering.
